I’m hosting a workshop for all those who always say that need a website, but don’t have a budget for it. Nowadays, there are many simple and cheap ways to make a website. It will never be the same as something customized from scratch but at least it will be a first step in your online communication.

For those who don’t know me, I’m Alícia Gómez and I’m at Mob&pau. I’m designing brand identities, websites and apps at Breu, my graphic design studio. As I only do custom web projects and those require a lot of investment (both in time and money) I thought the best way to be able to help you with simpler webs is to do a workshop explaining how to make your a website on your own.

We will work using WordPress to manage the content, and with a theme. So, although the workshop is free, you will have to buy your domain, hosting and theme (maximum 130€). We will do it during the workshop because I will give you advice when choosing the right hosting and template and it will be better that we all use the same hosting, because then, that the explanation will be the same for everyone.

To attend, please send me an email explaining how you want your website to be, to allow me to prepare it better. We’ll be a maximum of 20 people.

You have to bring your laptop and the content that you want to display on the web (texts and images). The more prepared you came, the more you can do during the workshop. We will not touch any code, so you do not have to know how to program.
